Cinco de Mayo (the 5th of May) is the Mexican Independence Day. It actually falls on a Saturday this weekend which is perfect, so why not host a little "fiesta" with some friends?! Here are some ideas to make it "muy bueno!"
First set the scene with a festive table setting. You don't have to go too literal, play around with things you already have like patterned napkins, textured placemats and baskets, and colorful candle holders and lanterns.

Keep the menu simple with snacks and cocktails. We love the idea of make ahead drinks and appetizers that can be served at room temperature so that you aren't stuck in the kitchen all night.
