Cereal Bar

What's better than a weekend brunch? Getting together with friends and family, enjoying some yummy food, and then still having the rest of the day ahead of you! While we love a fancy schmancy ordeal a simple brunch can be just as fabulous! I love the idea of a simple "make your own cereal bar". I mean seriously, what is more simple than filling some pretty jars or containers with ready made cereal? Try a mixture of brightly colored kid friendly varieties like fruit loops and lucky charms with  a few more healthy adult versions like granola and cornflakes. Side with pitchers of milk and garnishes like berries, banana slices, dried fruit, and toasted coconut and you'll have a beautiful spread in no time. Here's a few of our picks to complete your look, but keep it simple and mix and match in your own style with stuff you already have. Have a great weekend everyone!

Cupcakes for Dinner?

At BLEAU BOX we are always looking for ways to do something different and incorporate something surprising into our events. When I saw a recent article about the cupcakes that L.A. based catering company Heirloom was creating, it was right up our alley! They turned the normally sweet treat into a savory snack with creations like the "lasagna" cupcake.

Other versions such as the "chicken and waffle" cupcake and the "meatloaf with mashed potato frosting" cupcake sound scrumptious too! Serve these little comfort food concoctions at your next event and you're sure to have your friends talking!
